High-Accuracy Gaze Estimation for Interpolation-Based Eye-Tracking Methods
The accuracy of interpolation-based eye-tracking methods depends on the eye-camera location. This paper proposes methods to correct the eye feature distribution by virtually aligning the eye-camera with the eye’s optical axis. The methods are tested with simulated and real data from 83 participants. The results show that the methods improve the accuracy of gaze estimation compared to traditional methods.
